Clear browser cache

If the smart Conference App login page does not load correctly, clearing your browser cache often resolves the issue. Find your browser below and follow the steps.

Mobile Browsers

On smartphones and tablets, the steps vary depending on the operating system:

  • Chrome (Android): Settings > Privacy > Clear cache

  • Safari (iOS): Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data

Please note: Mobile browsers often manage the cache automatically, meaning less manual control is available.

Desktop Browsers

Google Chrome

  • Open the menu via the three dots in the top right corner.

  • Select Settings and go to Privacy and security > Clear browsing data.

  • Set the time range to All time.

  • Tick Cached images and files.

  • Confirm by clicking Clear data.

Tip: Use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + Delete (Windows) or Cmd + Shift + Delete (Mac) to open the clear menu directly.

Safari (macOS)

  • Open Safari Settings.

  • Go to Advanced and tick Show features for web developers (or Show Develop menu in menu bar).

  • Then choose Develop > Empty Caches from the menu.

Important: The option to empty the cache is not visible without the developer menu enabled.

Mozilla Firefox

  • Open the menu via the three lines in the top right corner.

  • Go to Settings > Privacy & Security.

  • Scroll to Cookies and Site Data and click Clear Data.

  • Tick Cached Web Content and confirm.

Advanced note: Entering about:preferences#privacy in the address bar allows you to clear caches for specific websites.

Microsoft Edge

  • Open the menu via the three dots in the top right corner.

  • Select Settings > Privacy, search, and services.

  • Click Choose what to clear.

  • Tick Cached images and files and confirm with Clear now.

Additional note: Some content (e.g. PDF previews) is stored separately. You can remove these at edge://settings/clearBrowserData.
