To submit an abstract via a Smart Abstract online submission portal, a one-time registration to create an account with Smart Abstract is required. This is done on the "Registration" page under Create a new account.
Important: You register at this point only for the use of Smart Abstract, NOT for participation in the congress.
Step 1: Registration
Enter your email address in the form "Sign up". A check will be made to see if the e-mail is known to the system.
Case 1: You are already registered for this abstract portal.
If your email address is known to the system because you have already registered for this event, you will be redirected to the login.
Case 2: You are already registered for another abstract portal by Smart Abstract
If you have registered for Smart Abstract at a previous event, you only need to authenticate for the current event. You will be automatically redirected to the next step.
Case 3: You are not yet registered for a Smart Abstract portal
If you have not yet registered, register now as described in step 2.
Step 2: Access data and profile
Create account data
To log in to the system you need an email address and a password:
Email: current email address accessible to you.
Password: enter at least 8 characters
Privacy policy: must be read and accepted before the registration is approved.
Create profile
Depending on the event, different personal data as well as contact information will be requested.
Standard queries are:
Form of address, first and last name, academic title
Contact details: Telephone number
Affiliation to institute/organisation: name and address
The fields marked with an asterisk* are mandatory and must be completed.
Complete the process by clicking on the Sign up
button.
Step 3: Activation
After registration you will receive an email with an activation link. Click on this link within 24 hours to confirm your registration.
After activation, you can log in to the system directly with your account access data.
