In your sessions, you can schedule abstracts, lectures or events.
Abstracts
During the submission phase, authors could submit abstracts for presentations at the conference. Only abstracts accepted by the organisers are available for planning.
Abstracts are clearly identifiable by their abstract number. Additionally, you can search or filter by
Name of the presenter(s)
Presentation type, e.g. poster or talk
Topic
Title
Lecture/Events
The "Lecture" contribution type is generally intended for planning "Invited speakers" or other speakers who are not required to submit an abstract for their lecture.
Accordingly, you should primarily plan this type of contribution via the lecture title. You can then add the invited speaker(s) to the lecture in a second step.
You also have the option of adding your own moderator or chairperson to the presentation, if you wish.
The format "Event" is generally used for all non-scientific events without speakers, e.g. for a closing discussion during a session or for breaks.
Lectures and events are planned in the same way. For the "Event" post type, you can also select "Non-academic event" from the "Properties" menu on the right-hand side.
